Hardwood Flooring Is Our Passion
Having worked in construction since the age of 15 and after serving in the U.S. Army Infantry at Ft. Ord, California, Richard found his love for wood flooring in Kentucky where he was able to combine his construction knowledge and passion for craftsmanship in wood flooring. Richard has become a well rounded Contractor & has wonderful insight on Design, even outside of his own scope of work.
Beginning a career in the wood floor industry in horse country – Lexington, Kentucky – in 1988, Richard learned from the best enterprise in the state.
In 1992, Richard and his family moved back to Martin County, Florida where he grew up and proceeded to work for the finest wood flooring company in Northern Palm Beach County. After two years, Richard branched out to form Bertine’s Hardwood which later became Hooked on Hardwood.
